Room of the Week: A Lake House library in the trees there - Two years a couple found their perfect retreat from the lake house, a house built in the footprint of a former camp on Lake Champlain, Vermont. They were attracted by the architecture simple, well executed in this house trees. So when they decided to add a garage and two rooms, they turned to the original house a rchitect, Don Welch, who had built for previous owners 12 years ago.

With the addition, the owners realized they could now convert their two bedrooms and en suite existing a master suite . They had an extensive collection of books and enjoyed reading. This led them to turn one of the two original rooms in an office-library - reading room with a dedicated view Lake.
