Room of the Week: A Lake House library in the trees there - Two years a couple found their perfect retreat from the lake house, a house built in the footprint of a former camp on Lake Champlain, Vermont. They were attracted by the architecture simple, well executed in this house trees. So when they decided to add a garage and two rooms, they turned to the original house a rchitect, Don Welch, who had built for previous owners 12 years ago.

Don removed the second fourth bedroom wall and opened the space of the bathroom and the master bedroom that are just beyond the opening of the door. It raised its 8-foot ceiling to a peak of 14 feet correspond to the ceiling of the master bedroom.

Don and entrepreneur Dan Clar discussed ways they could raise the details. "We talked about how these tablets could stack and overlap, said Don. After Don designed the project, Dan and his team figured out the construction. The biggest challenge of this project was how to build it, "Dan said.
