fantastic art collections in the civil section of the local bookstore I discovered, including calendars filled with beautiful reproductions of Japanese prints, the Audubon birds, animals and all kinds of plants, as well as vintage travel posters and even vegetable posters. It is a very cheap art treasure, usually available for less than £ 15. Even less if you wait until April or May, when the calendars are updated. Last year, I had a lot of pictures wall for extra room, and it was the perfect opportunity for the kind of collection which we speak. So out of the bookstore I went, and found it very cool calendar travel vintage Italian posters. Hey presto - instant collection
. For managers, I happened to have eight hanging in a closet of a past project . They were inexpensive, simple black frames, ready-made that I had bought in an art shop, a few years ago. Coincidentally, they have the right shape and size for calendar prints I was using. Custom frames are certainly interesting for special parts, but they can be expensive. For many projects, ready-made frames will work perfectly well, and they can be purchased for a very reasonable price.
custom matting is beautiful and can really improve your art, but the cost adds up quickly when you 're doing multiple photos. My solution was to go to the local art store and find a very nice paper (heavyweight and free acid) that I could climb on top impressions. It is much like mats and fulfills the same function of adding a layer of color and texture between the image and the frame - but for a fraction of the price. I think I paid £ 5 for enough paper for all images. As you can see here, a typical art shop offers a good assortment of high-quality paper in different colors and textures.

I selected neutral paper with a bit of texture that I felt would go well with the vintage feel and color prints.
The next step was simply put my scissors to work.
I took my eight favorite prints from 12 and cut each, taking care to leave about 2mm border around each image. This little border seemed just add a little something.
Each frame had a piece of stiff white cardboard as a support. Ready-made frames usually come with a stand, but if not, you can purchase the stock board at an art store or craft. What I had to do then was to cut the "mat" paper of the same size as the carrier.
After that, it was just a matter of putting a 7.5cm strip of tape double-sided adhesive on the back of the print in the middle and about one inch from the top.
So I turned the finished print, centered on the beige blotting paper create a border around the same impression, and pressed down gently on the tape to secure it in place.
Be careful that the inside of the glass was clean, I turned the printing and put inside the frame, then put the support above.
The last step was to obtain the support of small nails or tacks . I used a small hammer and tack gently but firmly nailed bugs within the top, bottom and both sides. Some frames ready to use include bugs that you can fold up.
Voila! Poster Italian Vintage Travel framed. You will notice the carpet is wider at the bottom than on the top and sides. This is technical writers often use to give the picture a little weight at the bottom. In my case it worked because loans to executives employment were a little too long. - Another case of luck
